Arnoldo joins the Edgemoor team with more than 10 years of experience in banking and real estate,infrastructure, and community development, including projects in Los Angeles,Greater New York City, Nashville, Brazil, and Malaysia. Early in his career,Arnoldo worked for Wells Fargo, helping increase the bank’s lending and community investments in underbanked markets in New York and Connecticut. After finishing graduate business school in 2016, he developed underwriting processes and managed the due diligence on $350M of P3 transactions, real estate acquisitions, and tax credit equity investments for Atwater Infrastructure Partners, a startup real estate and infrastructure investment firm.
Arnoldo is driven to better understand how technology can enhance our use of urban spaces and the built environment. Recently, he leveraged data analytics to more accurately predict rents for multifamily housing and more efficiently structure capital for a new elementary school in Nashville. A native Angeleno, he currently resides in Boyle Heights, where he grew up, and he is passionate about helping solve some of LA’s most pressing urban development challenges.
Arnoldo graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a BA in Political Science and has an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he received certificates in Finance and Sustainability.
Outside of work, he enjoys playing sports, especially soccer (or fútbol), and back-country camping in California's Sierra Nevada. He recently picked up surfing, and, though he's not very good, he loves getting in the ocean.
